Who we are & what we do
Twyning Parish Council meets 11 times a year, on the third Monday of the month. The Council maintains the village green and other green spaces, trees on public spaces and the village clock. The Council actively works with community groups to facilitate projects and initiatives around the village. The Council strives to keep the tax burden to a minimum but this largely depends on the community taking some of the responsibility for facilities and activities. The Council plays a vital part in ensuring the environment and character of the village is protected by scrutinising planning applications to ensure they fit within the setting. The Council has 9 members and employs a Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer.
Parish Council Elections
Elections were held in May 2023 and were uncontested.
